I would very much appreciate anyone that currently has, or has had in the past either of the below listed lathes, to share their experience (both good and bad) with me.

WOODFAST M 910
TEKNATOOL DVR 3000 XP

I was considering a VICMARC VL 300, however, for my use (hobby only) I doubt that the extra $2,900.00 is worth spending.

Should anyone have any alternative suggestions for a machine of similar size and similar features, please advise.

Any information provided will help me in deciding which machine to purchase.

With anticipatory thanks, Unwise.

If you could afford the vicmark I would get it as it will keep a better resale value long into the future.

ps: I am biased as I have a VL300 :U

Have a relly goodlook at the DVR:
Dear ARTME,

I have been doing exactly what you have suggested and have almost decided to go for the DVR XP,
it seems to have all the features I need at a reasonable price.
I would appreciate any specific advice you may be able to offer, as your message was somewhat ambiguous - "Have a realy good look" . Does that mean that I should look for problems, or look at what an excellent machine it is?
Regards, Unwise.
