Am building a small china cabinet for a client and they are wanting the doors and sides of the cabinet to be leadlight rather than plain glass. But they really don't want to spend the $ on the authentic leadlight and was wondering about leadlight overlay.
The local company that has the franchise for leadlight overlay charges almost the same amount as what the traditional leadlight is. So I thought I would look into the costs of doing it myself. I mean if I can do the traditional stuff I can't see why i couldn't do the overlay!
I have looked everywhere locally but cannot find anyone that stocks the lead overlay strips. So, does anyone out there know of somewhere that does stock the stuff and also sells via mail? Or if anyone has any experience with the stuff?
