Hi there,
I'm looking to purchase a table saw that's of sufficient quality to do reasonable joinery without driving me insane. After briefly looking at the current crop of $200-300 bits and pieces, I've decided there's really no alternative but to move up to the next price bracket.
I'm looking at the JET JTS-10DD for around $850, and I'm wondering if anyone can report on whether it's a good piece of machinery to work with?
In particular, is the fence accurate and useable? Does it have any serious pitfalls? Which competitors should I consider in a similar price range?
Here's a URL spec'ing the machine: [Link] (http://www.gregorymachinery.com.au/equipment_catalogue/saws/tablesaws/jet_jts10dd.htm)
Also, does anyone have any idea of good places to browse such stuff in Sydney?
Many Thanks,
Jaye.
