Hi, I'm a new member & was wanting to know if anybody had any experience with these chinese saws.
I'm interested in a panel saw more so than a cabinet saw, even though it will mainly be used for hardwood. The real advantage for me would be to rip odd shaped, or bowed timber say anything up to 2800 long, using the sliding table to get a straight edge to begin with. It would also be used for vaneer panels although to be honest, I hate the stuff.
My garage is 4200x 10000, and although I know how much room it will take up its got to be better then all the other benches, extension, rollers and other bits I've got everywhere, just so I can rip a straight edge or clean up a vaneered board.
Carbatec also have a cabinet saw from Taiwan with a 1.6 meter panel type sliding table, it has a 100mm cut depth as opposed to the panel saws 87mm, but only a1600 table. Both tables have a scribing blade with independant moters.
Any feedback on either of these machines would be a big help.
