Well I took a bit more time and made sure I finished this one (the last one (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=80956) wasn't so forgiving). Was planning on embellishing the top a bit more but didn't want to push it too much and its only my first so no need to go hard early:B.

On the top I would have ... done nothing really as I'm still a beginner and whatever I tried would have been a disaster.

Thanks team... much finer cuts this time around. I don't think the wood is Sheoak, suspect it may be Box Burl but really not sure.
