Can't say I blame them, who knows what the next container load of goodies might cost and it doesn't matter where it comes from.

In fact they are probably holding off orders where possible till the dust settles therefore why discount goods that could cost 30% more to replace.

That's a shame, but understandable.

Hopefully this is not the start of hard times for the industry. At the moment we are a bit spoiled for choice when it comes to woodworking equipment, but it only takes one or two companies pulling out to make things worse for everyone.

I don't think H&F are likely to crash, they've been around a very long time.But we might find prices increasing across the board. On a brighter note, the dollar was in the low seventy cents not so long ago, so the current 68 cents isn't all doom and gloom. We have had it good recently, but the 90 cent spike didn't last long.
