The Eltham District Woodworkers have their Exhibition this weekend (Nov 8th & 9th) at the Eltham Community Centre (cnr Pitt st and Main rd Eltham, opposite the Eltham hotel) from 9am to 5pm.
The exhibition has 230 exhibits covering all aspects of woodworking such as woodturning, scrollsawing, carving, cabinet making, marquetry and guitar making. Many of the exhibits are for sale but cannot be taken until after 4:30pm on the Sunday.
We will also have demonstrations covering the same facets of woodworking and also including violin making, ornamental turning and old bush craft woodworking.
There will be a sale table with items for direct sale.
We also have woodworking for the children where the little tackers will make acrobatic bears. Many thanks to Eltham Home Timber and Hardware who supplied the wood.
The club members have also made the raffle prizes again this year.
Prizes include, Rocking Horse, Dolls House with Furniture, Hall Table, Trivets, and Jewellry Box.
