One of my brothers who is a fisho has a request. The mackeral are running on the coast and some have abit of size. He needs a new 'priest' to deliver the last rites to some of these thumpers. I am going bush today to find a suitable bit of gidyea to split and turn up on the pole lathe. i'd never worked with this timber til we came west. Very hard and very heavy. Will try and work out how to post some pictures.
