Hi all,
I'm about to make clocks but only the type that have the quartz movements.

Does anyone know of a good distributor in Aussie that will supply those plus the hands?

Could you also tell me please ~ do I need the shaft to be 21mm for 19mm wood? I will mostly be using that thickness of wood. I gather the shaft needs to be above the wood about 2mm for the hands, is that right?

Sorry, am totally new to this! lol
Thanks for your help, guys:)

G'Day Judy, go to the Scrollers forum and look for KEJU, they will help you, as they can supply some nice little clocks. :)

A great site thanks James.
I noted they didn't have prices or at least I couldn't find them. Do I need to call them to check on those?

HI Judy
Guess what my company Lets make time clock company sponsors this site and funnily enough has been supplying quartz clock parts via mail order and retail for 20 years. I would love to be able to help you. I sell only good quality movements and have over 100 different hands to choose from as well as numbers, dials, insert clocks etc. How about clicking on my website and having a look at whats available. If you need any help just ring me on 07 55204422 during business hours and I will be happy to help.:)

Hey Tweak, (Judy)

If you are going to be using 19mm timber I would be routing a rebate in the back so that the movement only sticks out a little bit, otherwise the clock will stand way too far out from the wall. And yes, check out the 'Lets Make Time Clock Co.' She has everything you will need. Even some real fancy types of hands.
