Well, it's here, an extra hour in the workshop every night without having to resort to inadequate lighting that I have been goin to replace for the last five years.
CWA will be complaining about the fading curtains again and the home gardeners about the tomatoes ripening too quickly as well as the farmers and their sensitive cows. Fred NIle can complain about an extra hour of daylight not being Gods will and mankind messing with nature.
Having said all this I heard one plausible complaint from a cow cockie once "I now have to milk the cows an hour later by the clock and I miss the ABC news on TV". One positive, in March 2001 you get to sleep in one morning!
Just realised, my timber air drying will now dry quicker won't it http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/wink.gif

We're still in the dark ages over on this side of Oz,and for the main we envy you folk that have all that extra http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/wink.gif daylight to while away in your shops without the need for having to throw the light switch early!
Could it be that the powers that be here in W.A. will see the light (oh excuse me for that) http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/redface.gif and keep us in tune with the rest of the country(sorry Shane)most of the country.
Cheers

You could change the gearing in your clock so you could get an extra 5 minutes per hour but think of the overtime you would lose!
Queensland don't get daylight saving and it was rumoured that they did not need it as the sun shone out of Sir Joh's a***. http://ubb.ubeaut.com.au/ubb/wink.gif
Sorry that really is an old one.
