Pleasure TL.
My first turning teacher, Bernie Kiyabu, used to do a lot of green turning (pith in, pith out ... er, nuff said) and made a feature of the end result.
I've done a lot of green turned Silver Birch and English Ash and both remain pretty stable. In fact did a bowl on a pedestal out of wet Ash with no run-out while working; pretty fibrous stuff though and not the easiest to turn.
(K, ramble over. Time to get back to the shed. Found half a dozen species in the 'bank' that Vern doesn't have in his collection and am blocking them down for him.)
