Hi Guys,

Stuck this one down in the timber thread, but as Skew pointed out they really are blanks :D, so I am going to drag it in here too.

Can anyone help me with an ID?

Yeah that's my first roadside pickup of any scale too, I'm sure there are lots of names for it :B

Sorry, no luck here!

Interesting colouration of the foliage and "shuts" location. Interesting timber grain and colours also, a little bit of green turning is on order, huh?:D

Shannon...if it is Poison Sumac you'll find out soon enough!!:doh::C

....however, the leaves on the stump don't look like sumac.

Re-assuring, Thanks Ed. There are some great features in these bits so hopefully I can figure it out soon. Certainly got plenty of sap on my hands and a scratch or two and they did not welt up so that must be a good sign. Didn't know we had 'poison ivy' here but some sites seem to think we do. Love to hear from anyone else who might recognize it.
