Whilst browsing yesterday I came upon this site which has a 3 pdf files you can down load. The site link is http://www.akpilot.net/Lathe%20Links.html They are all public domain and just a compilation of data from 9*20 lathe users. The data does pertain to asian machinery but should be good for all. Not being a expert in this field it may have errors but so far looks good to me.

Here is the links I copied them to my web server so you can right click and save file. The server I got them from is a bit slow.

The introduction to 9*20 lathe link
http://www.users.on.net/~gene/Rebuild%20Manual.pdf (http://www.users.on.net/%7Egene/Rebuild%20Manual.pdf)

This gives pics of grinding tool bits. and all sorts of lathe related things, whats what and how to do lathe operations.

Tricking out the the lathe.

Things to make for your lathe eg ball turners and such.

Rebuild Manual
[URL="http://www.akpilot.net/Rebuild%20Manual/Rebuild%20Manual.pdf"] (http://www.akpilot.net/Tricking%20Out/Tricking%20Out.pdf)http://www.users.on.net/~gene/Rebuild%20Manual.pdf (http://www.users.on.net/%7Egene/Rebuild%20Manual.pdf)

This is for the asian lathe users on how to make the lathes better.
