Any tips on getting my power tools dust and grit free after using them? I dont have an air compressor to blow the stuff out so wonder how others go about doing this.

I use my little beaver spray gun blower unit which are inexpensive, or try the blower end of a vacuum cleaner (if yours has it!)

What's wrong with just using the vacuum end of the vacuum cleaner?

I tried that Doorstop but it buggers the edge of my router bits!
Another option is to get an old wheel with tyre and tube and blow it up at the servo then attach a hose with a nozzle on the end. You can pick up the bits from the flea markets from those who specialise in automotive bits.

You blokes have got it all wrong. Personally I wait until I have a few tools, such as the router, hammer drill, jig saw etc ready to be cleaned and put them all in the washing machine along with the jocks and socks. I find a cold water cycle and a low sudsing detergent works well. A word of warning ....... don't put the wife's delicates in the same wash ( I have the bruises to prove this is not a wise thing to do.

Put in the spin dryer on low heat for about 45 minutes or until the socks are dry is about right.

ps remove the blade from the jigsaw before washing.

Hope this helps.
