Have a look at these two items on Ebay:

The Sterling seems to be an exact copy of the Richardson - does anyone know a bit about the history of these Australian companies - I assume that Sterling bought out Richardson but I have never heard of Sterling drill presses before.

Hmm, someone bought the one with cracks in it but left the better one alone - I would have bought the both and made one nice one out of the two if I were closer to the sale location. Much nicer product than the imported junk that people whine about on here all the time.

I guess no one has any knowledge of the companies behind these products.
