That's one solid looking bench seat.

Table is great I reckon the breadboards really look good and the overall color is nice :2tsup:.

Nice work Boz. Agree with Brett, the blackbutt is beautiful, and I like the wedges.

Beautiful job, Boz. Usually that sort of design looks clunky, but you've got it right I reckon.
How have you attached the top? If screws, I hope you used oversized holes in the legs, to cope with differential expansion.
(Sorry, probably teaching granny to suck eggs.)

It's all quite solid. The top is around 35mm the benches 45mm - so it's rather heavy in blackbutt. Some where concerned about the curved legs and the short grain. Time will til. When that section is 45mm thick and no less then 50mm wide, I'm not concerned. But time will tell. Getting the balance between delicate shaker style and solid strenght was the greatest struggle in design.

The leg curve actually follows plans I found in a shaker book online. Closer to the original then the inspiration pic.

And yes, no oversized by elongated holes in the legs for the screws.

Thanks for the feedback.

The couple that will take it home for thier wedding present will see it this weekend.
