i am going to build a drum sander. but am wondering at what speed a single drum would run at as most commercial drums have two rollers. have tried a drum on my wood lathe with temporary table underneath but it just picked up the timber and shot it out. would like some more ideas or photos of a successful model as i need to sand small strips as i am into segmented turning. i think i will have to have two rollers and they might both have to be powered. brian
