I am looking for an mc900 wood lathe in Sydney, have no idea where to start looking or what is a good price? Or are there any other similar lathes I should consider?

It's a present for my dad, he is reasonably experienced at woodwork but not woodturning...

Any suggestions on where I should look or any other things to consider would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

I can recommend buying one from Leda Machinery (http://ledamachinery.com.au/catalogue/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=66&osCsid=5679e311983198a6ac0c26258d22041e). You might need to email of phone them for the price. They gave me very good service when I ordered my MC-1018 and only charged me $20 or so to have it shipped to me.
