Hi I just finished this best lid fit I have ever made. Thrilled to bits. Even got the best finish that I have ever made on the inside of a box. I was surprised at how the timber finished I was hoping to keep the pink and the cream. This is finished with ubeaut shellawax. The box is 7cm high and at the largest width about 5cm diameter.
I have had a great day
bye Toni

Nice one Toni:2tsup::2tsup:

I like your work and I especially love Mackay Cedar....saw a beautiful slab at the Melbourne TWWW show.

Cheers,

Nice box, Toni! Cedar is easy to sand, but it's hard to sand enough to get to the point you can't see any marks. I have to sand cedar to finer grits than any other wood.
Also, sanding slow enough to keep the heat checking down is hard to do.
You did well!
