Starting to get the hang of this laminating now.. I think :). This one is black bean with silver ash trim. The black bean has produced some nice patterns in this one. It is 325mm diameter and 25mm deep overall. Plate thickness ia 5mm. Reasonably happy with the outcome.

Black bean is a right pita, makes me sneeze like hell and in some instances, I score a nose bleed. It is a nice timber and I like working it so I now wear a Racal respirator when working it.

Jim, I have been watching your pieces popping up form time to time but this one has just something else that puts it a cut above and a I like it a lot. You have something to be proud of there.
