I was disappointed to hear from the new organisers of the Timber and Woodworking Show that Adelaide is off their calender this year. They believe that the show will return to Adelaide in 2010. In the mean time I will have to visit a show interstate.:(

I didn't know there were two Calms on the Forum, 'cause the one I know doesn't care or share (much). Except for organising a Bowl_Challenge (http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au/showthread.php?t=86047) for a worthwhile charity :2tsup::2tsup:.

A pity, but a sign of the times I guess.
Also no motor show in Adelaide this year I believe.

I went to the Melbourne WWW Show and I was looking at going to the Adelaide show this year.:no::no:
Looks like I will have to go to the Melbourne WWW Show again. Maybe I will get used to going to Melbourne show. Doesn't matter to me as I live halfway between both Cities

Don't worry, with things the way they are in the climate we might all be going to Saturday markets, where we'll see crusty blokes like us fighting over likes of GMC and Triton gear selling at top $. :D

The poor crows. :console:

Mat there is a show in canberra this year.
4-6th september 2009

SRH if more of the locals had come and supported the show then there would have been a better chance the show would have been on again, now due to lack of local support they are looking bi annually and if that does not work it may get dropped completely like tassy.
