spalted beech 7" high by 6" diameter hollowed through a 3/4" hole- wall thickness of 3/16"

beech, 6" diameter by 4" high hollowed through a 7/8" hole wall thickness 3/16" hand carved - then ebonized- terrible to try to photograph!!

Nice work. Hollow forms are fun to make, but stopping regularly to empty out is a real pain. Both nice pieces, well done. :2tsup:

I use a mixture of home made single prong tools and melvyn firmagers two prong tools.
