Hi everyone
We have just received some of the Toys and Joys plans for models, and we are both very impressed with them. All the parts are full sized on the plans (A2 size sheets) and are therefore much easier to interpret than those that come from UBuild.

I was surprised to see a similar truck to the one that Dave made called Farm to Market in their catalogue which, although not as detailed as Dave's, is not as hard to make.

Anyone with aspirations to making models like these, can get all the bits, like wheels, axels, lights etc by buying the kit. (Silly here, ordered what she thought was plans, which turned out to be bags of wheels etc, much to her shock. They won't go astray, as they give Dave a chance to see exactly what the model takes, and to replicate wheels etc using his tools). So the model making process should be fairly clear cut. Only the timber used, and quality of finish distinguishes each finished product.

There is an interesting http://toysandjoys.typepad.com/toys_and_joys_customer_co/
as it shows the remarkable authenticity that some model makers can achieve. It's what we'll be aspiring to.

Cheers

Hiya, I got the plans and kit for the small bulldozer, great plans, I reckon I'll use the parts supplied as templates and make a bunch of them then I can make multiple dozers without buying more kits, sneaky ay, cheers, Billy
