I'm a newy and would like to know what is the best through dovetail kit for approx up to $200

Theres only one I know of and that is the stock standard 12" unit that Carbtec sell for about $220, there is also the same unit under several different names and Total Tools in Ringwood East have the same unit for $120. Blades are a bit sus but for a $100 saving I'm sure you can fix this problem.
I use one with a CMT bit ($$$$$$$$$$$) and it works well for me.
The instructions are a bit vague and sometimes colourful 'you can pressure without screwing' fair dinkum, thats what it says, but all the Chinee English apart it does not take long to figure out. Handle material up to just over 1" thick I think for memory.

Thanks Iian for your reply, that's exactly the answer I wanted, as the dollar savings is what helps us woodies to buy our little extra toys, am going out to see on Monday and let you know the result.
