Just a few photo's of toys for my girls. Chair and horse are out of pine pallets. The box is out of glass packing crates and few bits from Bunnings. My partner painted the flowers around the base.

Thats really clever stuff. Very cute.
I was under the impression that the pine in pallets had been treated with some carcinogenic. Not sure of the reason.
Perhaps someone can confirm / deny.

Depends, local softwood pallets dont need treatment as they are single use(normally)

Nice job Snafu :) I like using pallets as well cause they are easy on the wallet and quite plentiful once you have some contacts!

Cheap is why i like them too. I would like a thicknesser though. It'd make for less sanding.
