Well this is the second clock I have made, I will post pictures of the first later on.
My dad bought this miniture burl ages ago (about 10 years), saying whenever we asked him about it that he was going to make it into a clock.
With the help of Steve, I managed to cut the back off the burl, and debark it.
Then I purchased a mechanism, drilled a hole and gave the burl a quick sand on the 'drum sander'.
I then proceeded to apply 5 coats of oil (forget what type), I whcaked in the mechanism and gave it to my mum for christmas.

Leave comments, suggestions, criticism, whatever.
I will admit, I didnt overly enjoy making it, because it hardly involved anywork, but mum loves it and thats what matters.

P.S, when I asked dad what he had been doing with it for the last 10 or so years, he says: Letting it season...too which we both laughed :)
