Just thought I'd tell you guys about what I'm into myself. Fingerboards are just pretty much miniature skateboards used to replicate real skateboarding tricks with your fingers. They started as plastic toys known as "Tech Decks" and have evolved amazsingly into works of art. The best out there are made from 5 ply's of veneer, often american rock maple pressed together with glue (epoxy, PVA or polyurethane) then sanded to the desired shape, drilled and laquered. It's quite popular in germany and the USA with some company's making 10cm long boards that go for as much as $100 on ebay for a rare one.
I'll soon post some pictures to some fingerboard products for your interest, otherwise visit
www.berlinwood.com or www.blackriver-ramps.com
