Got recently 6 big alder chuncks from good folks, they were glad to get rid of this stuff, and I was glad having them.
My thoughts were to turn a pot for them as a nice memory on there big alder tree in there backyard.
It's a very simply pot, freehand turned. DxH 170mmx180mm. Wallthickness about 10mm. Finished with three layers blanc transparent lacquer.

Cheers. Ad

Well done, Ad. I also like to turn something for donors of free wood, even roadside orphans if possible to remember the source. I hope you sign the bottom.

Cheers,
Joe
