Articulated Sequential Interlocking Puzzle Plans

Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any plans for articulated interlocking sequential puzzle plans. Like made by Peter chapman of Class Menagerie Studio?

It looks as if it is cut on a bandsaw. Using the snake as an example. It is almost square with rounded corners. working from one end cut the interlocking loop. roatate the snake 90 degress and cut teh next loop. roatate 90 degress and so on. basically cut from the side, then the top, side, top, .......

Some of the more 3D ones like the bear might approach from differnt angles.

Thanks for the reply. These differ from simple 3D puzzles in that the pieces lock in place until the eye is removed than comes apart, whatsmore whilst the pieces are together they can still move slightly so you can "walk the animals".

Thanks for the site link, was unable to find in my searches. May have to try to replicate somehow if can't find plans for similar, as seams like a lot of fun for my son.

Check out WoodenUKnow Sculpture Puzzles (They're WOODEN, you know!) (http://www.woodenuknow.com/3dsculpturepuzzles.html) At the bottom are some links to a few patterns and plans. Most of the links on the page are dead, however. It seems this type of puzzle never really caught on.

And yes, they are made on a bandsaw. They are darn hard to do on a scrollsaw, unless you like miniatures and want a worm instead of a snake, or a guppy instead of a whale.
