I recently purchased a Carbatec Taiwanese dovetail jig. (The Leigh is a work of art but the amount of work I do does not justify the expense). I purchased a CMT bit to go with it- part No818.142.11B, as recommended by Carbatec. Trouble is that the pins are too wide for the tails. I have tried raising and lowering the bit, but no joy. I am convinced that this bit is not wide enough. Where am I going wrong? Suggestions please- your starter for 10.
