It looks beautiful - but the photo is toooo small!

Make the photo 72 dots per inch (dpi) and 700 across and that should do it. But from the original, not from that one.

i was hoping for more critical feed back , like the handles to plane (should have more beads and acorns in it ) ,the handle is to thick where it meats the head ,
come on attack , I'm thick skinned
i might be my toughest judge :o

I think it has just the right amount of decoration on it. I like the way the handle thickens and flows into the head. Also if the user has to vigorously bang on the desk to regain order, the head will not break off. The first photo does not show much detail but the outline looks good.

Not everyone likes the same thing. Some like fancy some like simpler.

If everything you make sells, you have it about right, and it is time to raise prices.

As to design etc I think its a matter of horses for courses. But there does seem to be a good market for them.

That is one beautiful gavel. Very well done.

One of these days (I dream), one of these days.

Great job.

I think you have nailed it, SDS.

And, so they should sell very well!
