I was asked to make a Birthday Present for a very rich man who has every thing
Was suppose to be used on his boat " Paspaley 3 " but i heard he liked it so much it went pride of place in his home Dunny
it's Coolibah burl , Jarra and has Mother of Pearl bits in it
the rope was hand carved

My god, that's got to be the worlds fanciest plunger!!!

You should contact Guinesses world records or something!

How did you do the curly bit?

bigger picks
the rope is carved by marking 4 lines down the length of the turned timber
using the diameter of the peace mark lines around the peace
connect the pints @ 45deg with a pencil
the carve it , i used a dremel and a lot of sanding

I can just imagine someone actually using it, plunging away furiously... then discovering that PVA is water soluble... :D

most my stuff is glued with "Megapoxy 69" don't have a bottle of PVA in the shed , its crap the humidity up here is enough to break it down ,got sick of stuff falling apart so don't use it anymore (PVA)
and to actually think that he would use it ???? that's the janitors job
