Chicken i just had to post this:)

our young Mr chicken is well a master at his craft:2tsup:

I have been in talks with him with getting some mallets done up from him:rolleyes:

i whent to my maill box to day and i found these works of art!!!!

i love them!!!
3 of the best mellets i have ever had in my hand:2tsup:

Hey nz, do they have some weight to them, as they certainly look like dense timber?

Lovely job! Are those in order as per the first photo, or is the second mallet Brushbox and the one on the right, Sydney Blue Gum? The different weights are rather convenient.

Has anyone made a mallet from Mahogany Gum? Apparently it weighs 930 kg m3, so obviously has some heft to it.

Ah! There isn't much 'blue' about Blue Gum.

The tree is a blue colour at a certain part of the year
