Sadly, I have an old Rexon 4" belt/ 6" disc bench sander that has again snapped the drive belt. The suppliers no longer carry the item. Can someone point me in the right direction. Been looking for months now & run out of steam.

Cheers
Brian

If you have the old one, take it into a bearing supplier and they should be able to fix you up.

Hi Brian,

I have an old JBS machine which i suspect would be very similar to yours. I needed a new belt last year & ordered one through "Blackwoods". It took a few weeks to arrive & cost about $10. Part No. 00725764. Extra info. BD-46R 130XL037.

Hope this helps,

Regards
Alan

The belt on my Ryobi 6 "disc /4" beltsander gave up a few weeks ago ,I took it into the local engineering supply shop and they got two for me from Gates .
I was there when he called the Gates bloke and he told him the size , then he asked me if it was for a sanding machine.
Cost me $8.00 each and $25.00 for an airbag to get them here.

The brand name on the original belt was ,,,,,get this "The Great Wall Belt Type "
At least the size was correct I can find the size if you want.
