Sometimes I am glad that I live in a place where I can go outside every day in winter!!!

I cant wait to see what they can do once they get there training wheels off.
and start to play with real big bits of wood.

Have you noticed how all of the pencil's are sharpened super fine? :confused:
Bet they did not use a Tormek.

Hi folks, not sure if fruit is technically wood but thought I'd throw these melon carvings in as you don't see much of these in oz.
Watched over a blokes shoulder on a Gemini cruise a few years ago and had a go at it. Easier to carve than wood, and if you stuff up, you can eat it. No waste.

Pencil carving - Now back in 1961, that's what got me into trouble in class, into detention after school and in to carving for over 35 years. Strewth who'd uv thunk it. :D

PS I like the fruit. Have also seen it turned on a lathe. Looks great but a bit messy to turn, very bloody messy you have a slip with the tools.
