This is a bottle stopper I made in October 08, and was inspired from the Israeli woodturner Eli Avisera. The wood is Jatoba and Beech. How to make the blank you can see at this link: www.flisespikkeriet.biz/woodpeck.htm (http://www.flisespikkeriet.biz/woodpeck.htm) and choose How to.

I've had thoughts over the years of doing that sort of segmenting but ,like many other dreams, never got around to it.
