There was a post a little while ago about sharpening gear for hollow morticing chhisels. some wher thinking about overseas purchase.

Well good news
Paul Williams
Academy Saws
at caloundra
Phone 07 5437 2500

has a selection of the proper stuff for a variety of tyes & sizes of chisel.

these are the thingys that look like a countersink with a spigot up the middle.

he also sells & repairs all sorts of morticing gear, he is probably better known for his wonderfull high speed steel plane blades.

this is a real nice bloke who seems to have old fashioned pride in his work & is helpfull.

cheer chaps

I have to second your comments about Paul being a good bloke who takes pride in his workmanship. When he was at Academy saws I worked nearby & often called in after work to see what I couldn't live without. He was always most helpful and full of good advice. I now have one of his plane blades and swear by it.
