Welcome John T :U

woodturning is a lot of fun, as well as addicting, so no worries about being made "redundant"...with all the blokes and ladies on this forum you'll always have mates that know your not "redundant" :2tsup:

BTW...clean off that camera lens 'cause you'll surely want to post some pics of your lathe work(s)

Hi John T,

Is the "T" stands for Travolta?:D

Seriously mate, welcome to this group of saw-dust sniffers!

Well, maybe you were made redundant from your profession, but at your age, is time to enjoy life and other interests. Wood-turning will most certainly occupy as much time as you want to dedicate to it, and you find that, when it start to get too much, the missus will have by now rung some alarm bells and whistles...!:~

What equipment have you have, and what will you be doing, mostly?

Cheers:2tsup:
