Sorry i've just spotted the woodwork pics forum, if a mod would like to move this i would be greatful.





Didn't know where else to put this ( no too big to go there ).

I spoke to a local lady while i was looking at the carving of Bill Trevaskis and she said " you would not believe how much that looks like him "

I really liked this piece and while i've seen these kind of inserts in crockery repairs i've never seen it used like this.

Welcome to the apple Isle Terry, you're gonna love it here i just bet!

They sure do love their wood carvings down here in Tas, heres a bunch more. Sorry bout the poor lighting of some of the pics, we were passing thru at the wrong time for good pics.

They are in a little town called Ledgerwood out near Scottsdale on the way to Ringarooma. SWMBO & i were on our way to Ringarooma to try & track down some of her ancesstors.

Ray i didn't see those round the back,:no: one of our party had a fall and was taken to hospital.

Terry, yes enjoyed the visit and my first ever Scallop pie.:U

Rattrap, saw those, very good, have got the same pics as probably 1000s of other tourists have.you just have to take them dont you.

Got to agree FB Scallop pie :2tsup: but prefered Venison and red wine pie

I loved the large slab which had all sorts of carving by many on it :2tsup:
