I have made chairs similar to the me-do-it chairs for my kids about 30 yrs ago and have made some more again recently using 16mm mdf and painted it. The table was made to the same design. I have no plan but I do have some of the templates I used for routing the shapes.

I looked up Ikea website and got measurements and pictures and then adapted to suit.

Here's a cute and different table/chair set... only problem - it's in german, but you should be able to read the plan just fine - it even has photos in the instructions.... if you decide on this one and get stuck let me know and I see if I can help with the translation.
