I tried searching but found nothing on timber stitching.

I have a few bowls that could use this, so I'm looking for a little know how on the subject of how to !!

Timber stitching?

As in flaws/cracks highlighted by copper/leather laces type thing?

Or wickerworky stuff?

It's more to add strength to a split by inserting a small piece of timber across the split

Either the same species or contrasting . I'll try and find a pic I saw

You mean timber keys?

I've thought about it, but like lacings it's something I've never tried for myself. :)

Lacing looks better .
Butterfly keys look like joinery , waiting to be laminated .
