Hi there,
I'm looking to install floating timber floors in my apartment and am quite confused about all the different brands that supply seemingly the same timber.
Right now I'm thinking of going for Blackbutt, however I'm finding its price really varies quite a bit between brands. The two specific ones I've been looking at were UTF and Silkwood. The quotes I received were:
UTF: $110 per sq.m. - single strip, 127mm
Silkwood: $87 per sq.m. - single strip, 133mm
I need 60 sq.m. covered, so the difference in price is significant.
Has anyone dealt with these two brands in the past?
I would like to know whether UTF is really that much better and is worth the extra money (which I am happy to spend if it IS really better)
