My bro-in-law turns 70 next week. Did not have time to do 70 eggs, so reckoned this was the next best thing. Vern may be able to help with wood ID. I believe it may be Vine Tree as it came from somewhere in his territory.
Cheers, Shirley

Whaddya mean "Did not have time to do 70 eggs" - you still
had a week to do them. Even a dozen chooks could have made
70 in a week.:D

Give your bro-in-law my regards for a happy birthday.

One piece. Will try the separates one day. If I find any more of the wood, only too happy to send a piece down.
Thanks,
Shirley

If only I did not have to do that mundane stuff like housework etc, I no doubt would have had time to do the 70. With the house on the market, it has to look top notch every day.
Thanks, I will pass your message on to bro-in-law. The egg is only a fun gift. The family is putting in for a good present for him.
Cheers Shirley

Oooops! nearly missed this one Could be Vine tree but I suspect an acacia like Brigalow or Miljee from the light-dark banding of the heartwood - Vine tree is usually more consistent. Either way it's an eye-catching little number Shirley :2tsup:
