Hey There,

I was asked very nicely by SWMBO that I should have a go at some Hair Sticks, (Thanks Eliza) so I made a few, using Jarrah, Tassie Oak and Red Tingle (I think) also some sort of Banksia. SWMBO did the dangles on the top. They were fun so I might do some more. Finished with Hutt Friction Wax, The single one is Red Tingle (I think)107336

Hey, I like the one with the slanty end! That's very different.

You might want to look on ebay if you are thinking of selling them. One sold there the other day for over $300! It was ebony with silver and lapus, pretty - but no where near $300 value!!!!!!!

Artme, why would I watch out? Is he going to come after me and stake me with them! I guarentee I'm not a vampire :)

Hey There,

Thanks everyone for the comments, hey Eliza the slanty topped one is supposed to have a Flower stuck on it. I wasn't impressed by the long dangley bits but once I seen one in SWMBO's hair it didn't look that bad. "THREE HUNDRED $:o, can anyone get me that buyers contact details, I was thinking about $17.50 each.

Wow, they're pretty nice. :2tsup:

My daughter who has just turned 5 has announced that she wants to grow her hair long enough to sit on... I might have to practice a few of these!

Cheers,

Knew a little Chinese lady many years ago who had never had a hair cut she was 70+ she stood about 5ft at the time her hair if and when undone reached the floor 3 times her height. Her daughter had to wash it for her and then she would sit comb all of it and retie it up.
