do you know a golden yellow veneer?

30 years ago when I was completing my marquetry apprenticeship back in Europe, I came across a golden yellow veneer. It is as yellow as an egg yolk. No kidding. With time it did not change tone or colour, and I do not know its name. Ever since I am searching for it.
Very hard veneer, it was very difficult to cut.
Any idea?

try satinwood - aka pau amarillo - it's brilliantly yellow.

Yellow walnut is not egg yoke yellow, but a strong yellow straight grain.

osage orange is bright yellow but can turn brown like most timbers if corect finish isnt used and its hard

No idea if it has ever been used as a veneer but I've seen bright yellow pomegranate wood.

Rhodosphaera rhodanthema , or tulip satin wood , or some times called deep yellow wood

Very nice work. Good to see nice marquetry.

The veneer I am searching for is actually MUCH more yellow if you beleive it! Like the yolk of the farm eggs, sun yellow. Yellow heart grain is looks different too. But you bet I will look into it, see how this veneer performs.
