I have wondered if it is actually the one person, think about it,say if driver #1 cannot attend a filming day, then use driver #2...and so on, who would know ?

True to Top Gear buffoonery, it would be fun if they lined up all the Stig favourites and then in a typical moment of Clarkson theatrics, announce that none of them are the Stig and leave it at that.

Hi all, yes the 'stig' was unveiled on last night's top gear, but it was Michael Schumacher under the helmet! Not being picky, but in the past the Stig has been reported to have a very English accent by the celebrities who do the sensibly priced car bit, so..............

It's a conspiracy!!

I don't think the Stig is an F1 driver (past or present). There have been a few F1 star in the reasonable priced car and they always reference the F1 driver's lines being different to that of the Stig's.
