1hr kid fix
Not much doing lately with the carving but J needed a shield for school play by Tuesday based on Narnia. Only had an hour. Found the wooden toilet seat under the house, used a 1/4 spike burr on the woodhog, quich smooth with the variable speed sanding grinder, and then added the gold leaf from ebay, Thailand. Finished with some homemade stain (from atherton almond).
