buying tools
Hi guys
My first post, and probably discussed elsewhere.
I new (very) to carving and looking to expand my tools. What i am after is information regarding various places i would be able to purchase them. I am not asking what is the best tool or comments on shops, I am just after names and contact details.
I live in remote NT so online is best or somewhere that would send out a catalogue.
Any assistance very much appreciated.
Thanks
Anyone here from the NT?

Try Rick at www.littleshavers.com very knowledgeable, honest, great to do business with....he has a beginners kit that I wish had been around when I started carving! (of course you will have to pay shipping....oh, and he has a pretty good, online catalog)

The problem I have found with most USA based shops is they don't want to ship to Aust. ( although you could go through priceusa) one company that does have a good range ( if you can't find it in Aus) is www.woodcarverssupplies.com
I have bought tools from them. No problems. Shame about the Aus $ exchange rate. but often still worth looking at.

Thanks for the replies.
I've already been visiting the Carbatec website (plotting and planing purchases). My family gave me six tool pfeil kit which they purchased from there at Christmas.
Are the gouge diagrams on their website "life-size" or does anyone know how to make them that way.
