This is becoming the modern way to the future perhaps. If you want to get a book published these days it is not unheard of (in the UK anyway) for the publishers to request money up front from the author!

It's a matter of intrest.
Hi All,
Being new to this forum I hope I don't seem over bearing or unclear about my chosen subjects for carving. I don't know much about power or engine types or the like. My intrest is in an aircrafts form. Burt Rutan is one of my favorite recent designers. Bill Lear is a second and I have bought a set of Levaria learfan drawings. Demonstration teams is another sect not seen too often in plastic. While others are suffering from cabin fever I plan on exploring the possibilities of White oak this winter "maybe it will be a LearFan"????? Artworks2

The process of carving models is...
Hi Cruzi,
Cool footage, but it's not that complicated! At this point the best carvers hail from Manila and Laos,Japan, Canada, Australia... They use even cruder methods of carving their works. Again carving model aircraft can use the most basic tools.Artworks2

Painting before assembly????
Hello Everyone,
That video was a defanate inspiration to the craft of modeling. But the reality is that anybody can show how but the fact is we all have to develop our own technique. I would like to find the mini router attachment he uses to carve the belly on that model!!!
I want to show you one of my techniques of how I painted one project. I carved it completely from a beat up 100 year old cabinet.
Since a good paint job is important to me I had to do alot of #11 Exacto blade work via photos then glued it together. Artworks2

Bench
Hi guys,
I thought I'd give you a taste of my little world. I'm just gonna show some works in progress then after the Day of Eating I'll post some other models as well. Here is my desk where I bring all the parts together. The models are all rare and built in 1/35th scale "Big". You may recognize the aircraft. The almost complete Cessna is over 5 years old an was the proof model for an Airambulance company here where I live. I have some other projects going this winter and as soon as I get them going I'll share them with you.
Cheers from Artworks2
