Love the pieces, they really speak, not so sure about the casting idea as I think the wood lends a certain tactile intimacy to the works. Perhaps some of the "later in the stages of separation " might suit, cold hard metal and all.

Ceramic casting shells are costly. Possibly scale one up 10X and try lost wax? At that size, they would easily be gallery pieces.
