    Love the pieces, they really speak, not so sure about the casting idea as I think the wood lends a certain tactile intimacy to the works. Perhaps some of the "later in the stages of separation " might suit, cold hard metal and all.

    Ceramic casting shells are costly. Possibly scale one up 10X and try lost wax? At that size, they would easily be gallery pieces.

    The ones in your second post look like they were designed by a vindictive woman, one as a nut cracker, the other as a .... well very painful anyway
